Turnaround time (TAT) for test results could take 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the type of test being done. TATs are identified in each test’s description, which are found in the LTSM Test Menu/Directory.
The mycology lab accepts only pure isolates for testing. Clinical specimens cannot be accepted. For additional guidance, please refer to the online submission instructions found on the test page of the test you are requesting, found in the LTSM Test Menu/Directory.
Use the most recent version of the G-2E Submission Form. Please ensure you are coordinating with a regional epidemiologist before submitting the swabs. Refer to the DSHS AR Lab’s webpage for more guidance on C. auris submissions.
